Apple: Apple Card launched in US today

(CercleFinance.com) - Today Apple is launching the Apple Card in the United States, its virtual credit card developed in collaboration with Goldman Sachs and Mastercard for iPhone users.

As part of its offer, Apple has implemented a "cashback" program called "Daily Cash" allowing the a posteriori refund of 2% of purchases made with the card.

This percentage even reaches 3% for purchases made on the Apple online store, Apple stores or with partners, such as Uber Eats.

For holders of the elegant titanium Apple Card, cashback is however limited to 1% of the amount of purchases. With no number, expiry date, signature or security code, this physical card is "more secure than any other card," Apple says.

Another benefit is that Apple Card users pay no management fees, no annual subscription fees, no commission on international purchases and no fees if authorisations are exceeded.

The Apple Card is available today in the United States for iPhone owners that have at least an iPhone 6 with a Wallet, and who have downloaded the latest iOS 12.4 version.
