Apple: exceeds expectations in Q3

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening Apple unveiled Q3 EPS that is up 40% at 2.
34 dollars (to end-June), a record for this period of the year and fifteen cents above the consensus.

Apple's sales, whose products include the iPhone and Mac, rose by 17% to 53.3 billion dollars, marking its fourth consecutive quarter of double-digit growth.

Regarding Q4 2017-18, the technology group, which is based in Cupertino (California) said that it expects a gross margin of 38%-to-38.5%, with sales of between 60 billion and 62 billion dollars.
