Amazon: Q2 net income doubles
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday night, Amazon group reported a 40% jump in its sales in the second quarter, which reached 88.
9 billion dollars, in a period that was heavily affected by lockdowns imposed in many countries.
On a like-for-like basis, revenues increased by 41% y-o-y.
As a result, net income doubled from 2.6 billion dollars to 5.2 billion dollars, as did EPS - which increased along the same lines - up from 5.22 dollars to 10.30 dollars.
