Abbott Labs: Q4 EPS matches consensus

(CercleFinance.com) - Abbott Laboratories has posted Q4 2019 adjusted EPS from continuing operations that is up 17.
3% at 95 cents, in line with the consensus, for revenues that are up 7.1% at 8.3 billion dollars (+8.5% in organic terms).

Thus, over FY 2019, the health group reported adjusted EPS that is up 12.5% at 3.24 dollars, in its target range of 3.23 dollars to 3.25 dollars, for revenue that is up 4.3% at 31.9 billion dollars.

For FY 2020, Abbott says it expects adjusted EPS of between 3.55 dollars and 3.65 dollars, which suggests double-digit growth in the middle of the target range, and between 7% and 8% organic sales growth.
