AT&T: signs virtual operator agreement with Dish
(CercleFinance.com) - US telecoms giant AT&T announced on Monday that it has signed a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) agreement with satellite TV group Dish.
Under the terms of the long-term strategic agreement, Dish will offer subscribers of its Boost Mobile, Ting Mobile and Republic Wireless services access to AT&T's network coverage, in addition to its new 5G network.
Dish aims to cover some 70% of the US population with its own 5G network by 2023.
AT&T's 5G network is already available to 250 million US citizens.
