Tele2: net OP of 800m SEK

(CercleFinance.com) - This morning Tele2 announced sales of 7.
15bn SEK in Q1 2024, up 2% organically y-o-y. Sales from end-user services were 5.3bn SEK, up 4% organically.

Underlying EBITDAaL came to 2.6bn SEK, up 2% organically on Q1 2023. Profit after financial items (EBT) was 1bn SEK over the past three months.

Total net operating profit was 0.8bn SEK, while EPS reached 1.20 SEK.

Forecasts for the full year 2024 and medium-term outlook were reiterated.

At end-February 2024, iliad signed an agreement with Kinnevik for the cash acquisition of around 19.8% of Tele2's share capital, for 13bn SEK (around E1.16bn).
