Galp Energia: 2018 adjusted earnings up
(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday Galp Energia, a Portuguese oil company, reported adjusted net income that is up 23% at 707 million euros, driven by an increase in its oil and gas production.
The group increased its average annual oil and gas production by 15%, to 107,300 barrels per day.
For Q4 alone, adjusted income reached 109 million euros, which is actually below expectations, as the consensus was expecting 132 million euros.
Nevertheless: the share price appears to benefited from these results, as it is currently up 1.2% in Lisbon.
