Peugeot: new hybrid system for the 3008
(CercleFinance.com) - The year 2023 will truly be "the electric year" for Peugeot, which will introduce new models and technologies to its range.
This will particularly be the case for the new Hybrid system designed by Stellantis, which is offered on the Peugeot 3008 and 5008, before being extended to other models in the range. The Peugeot 3008 and 5008 Hybrid are produced at the Sochaux plant and will enhance the particularly comprehensive family of electrified powertrains, including plug-in hybrids, 100% electrics and fuel cells. The Peugeot Hybrid 48V system comprises a new-generation 136 hp PureTech gasoline engine, coupled to a 6-speed dual-clutch electrified gearbox that integrates an electric motor.
