Stellantis: geothermal energy with Vulcan

(CercleFinance.com) - Stellantis and Vulcan have announced the launch of a joint project to develop renewable geothermal energy to supply the Mulhouse site where the DS 7, Peugeot 308 and e-308, 508 and the new 408 are manufactured.


This project could contribute to meeting a significant proportion of the site's annual energy needs from 2026.

This is the first project in France between Vulcan and Stellantis for the potential use of geothermal energy to decarbonise industrial activities, as well as localising the energy supply for Stellantis' European operations.
