Technip Energies: major EPCC contract in Qatar
(CercleFinance.com) - Technip Energies announces that T.
ENCCC, its joint venture with Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC), has been awarded a major EPCC contract by QatarEnergy for the North Field South (NFS) onshore facilities. The engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract covers the delivery of two CCC-built mega-trains, each with a capacity of eight million tonnes p.a. (Mtpa) of liquefied natural gas (LNG). The project includes a major CO2 capture and sequestration facility, with a capacity of 1.5 Mtpa, which will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by over 25% compared to similar LNG facilities.
