Ahold Delhaize: Invest Securities still a buyer, raises TP

(CercleFinance.com) - Invest Securities reinstates its "buy" rating on Ahold Delhaize shares, nudging up its target price for them from 31.
4 euros to 32.7 euros, following a quarterly publication characterised by a growing contrast between the performance of the US and Europe.

The weight of the US, which has been increased by a significantly positive translation effect, is thus singularly reinforced to represent 65% of consolidated sales and practically three quarters of EBIT, the analyst points out.

He sees the superiority of Ahold Delhaize's American model as a major argument for the case, even though Europe is likely to face headwinds that are reinforced by the energy crisis and the stress suffered by consumers and businesses alike.
