ABN Amro: top human-resources officer departs

(CercleFinance.com) - Dutch lender ABN Amro said on Tuesday its top human-resources executive will leave the bank in December, without providing any details of the reason behind his departure.

In a brief statement, ABN said the move was "mutually agreed" by the bank and Gerard Penning, who was its chief human resources officer (CHRO) and member of its executive board since August 2020.

The bank said Penning has led the HR department through "turbulent times", when it had to face the global pandemic, the wind-down of its operations in Asia-Pacific and major organisational changes in the US.
