FCA: signs 3.5 billion euro credit facility deal

(CercleFinance.com) - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has signed a 3.
5 billion euro credit facility agreement with two banks, the carmaker said in a statement on Thursday.

The 12-month loan, which can be extended for another six months, will be available for general corporate purposes and for working capital requirements, FCA said.

It has been structured as a bridge facility to support the group's access to capital markets, the auto giant said.

The credit facility adds to the company's existing credit facilities of 7.7 billion euros, including a credit line worth 1.5 billion euros that FCA has already started to draw on.
