Euronext: cash volumes down 13.4% in October

(CercleFinance.com) - Euronext has announced average daily transactions of 8.
57 billion euros on its cash markets in October, down 13.4% y-o-y.

The pan-European stockmarket operator stated that transactions in ETF index funds fell by 31% y-o-y, with an average daily transaction value on the ETF order book of 219 million euros.

The overall average daily volume of derivatives traded fell by 5.4% y-o-y to 604,299 contracts, while the average daily volume on the spot foreign exchange market fell by 2.7% to 18.66 billion dollars.
