Euronext: cash volumes down 0.9% in December

(CercleFinance.com) - Euronext has announced average daily transactions on the Euronext cash order book of 7.
9 billion euros on its cash markets in December 2018, down 0.9% y-o-y.

The pan-European stockmarket operator stated that transactions in ETF index funds fell by 6% y-o-y, with an average daily transaction value on the ETF order book of 255 million euros.

However, the overall average daily volume on derivatives rose by 21.8% y-o-y to 651,367 contracts, while average daily volume on the spot foreign exchange market rose by 22.5% to 19.11 billion dollars.
