Euronext: cash volumes down 4% in July

(CercleFinance.com) - Euronext has announced average daily cash volumes of 7.
31 billion euros on its cash markets in July 2018, down 4% y-o-y.

The pan-European stockmarket operator also stated that activity on ETF index funds fell by 7.2% y-o-y, recording an average daily volume of 213 million euros.

However, the average daily trading volume of all derivatives increased by 5% y-o-y to 590,053 contracts per day, while that on the FX spot market rose by 11.1% to 20.02 billion euros.
