Airbus: Croatia Airlines orders six A220-300 aircraft
(CercleFinance.com) - This morning Airbus announced that Croatia Airlines, the Zagreb-based Croatian flag carrier, has signed a firm order for six A220-300 aircraft.
In addition, the airline also intends to lease a further nine A220s, bringing its total commitment for this aircraft type to fifteen.
The plane maker says that the A220 offers a 50% smaller noise footprint, up to 25% lower fuel consumption per seat and CO2 emissions than the previous generation of aircraft, and NOx emissions that are around 50% lower than industry standards.
