Airbus: delivers first ACH145 helicopter to private customer

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus Corporate Helicopters (ACH) has delivered the first of two ACH145 helicopters to a private customer.

The group will also deliver an ACH160 thereafter. The owner will use these first two helicopters on yachts in the Mediterranean and Caribbean regions.

The second ACH145 will be delivered in the last quarter of 2019 and the ACH160, which will be used for ground transportation, will be delivered after certification.

Luviair, a specialist in helicopter management and operations, will manage the ACH145 and an ACH160 that it has bought. Luviair has operated a fleet of VIP Airbus helicopters for nearly 20 years and manages all aspects of its customers' operations from its operational bases in London, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and on board the world's largest super yachts.

“The transition to this new generation of Airbus helicopters is a clear demonstration that the ACH160 meets the demanding requirements of the most discerning corporate helicopter customers,” the group said.
