Airbus: Azul receives its first A330neo
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announces that the airline Azul has received its first A330neo.
This aircraft is the first of 15 A330neo aircraft ordered by Avolon. Azul is a Brazilian company that flies to 108 destinations in South America, the US and Portugal.
The airline will use the A330neo - Airbus' new-generation A330 - to expand its network of international flights between Brazil, Europe and the US.
It is equipped with a three-class cabin that can accommodate 34 passengers in business class, 96 in economy Xtra and 168 in economy class.
Powered by the latest Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, the A330neo delivers an unprecedented level of efficiency - with 25% less fuel per seat than previous generation competitors. Equipped with the Airbus Airspace cabin, the A330neo offers a unique passenger experience with more personal space, an in-flight entertainment system and the latest generation connectivity.
