Toyota: wants to transform air mobility with Jody

and its partner Joby Aviation met this weekend at Toyota's Higashi-Fuji technical center in Japan to reaffirm their joint ambition in air mobility.
The fruit of their seven-year partnership, an air cab (eVTOL) from Joby performed a flight demonstration.
JoeBen Bevirt (director and founder of Joby) declared that the event was 'an important step towards the realization of clean, everyday air travel'.
The two partners are thus committed to achieving a future mobility that is 'freer' and 'prosperous for all'.
The eVTOLs, designed for short and frequent operations, aim to offer 'optimal environmental performance, quiet operation and reduced costs, while guaranteeing improved safety'.
