Toyota: sales up 8% in Europe in 2021
(CercleFinance.com) - Toyota Motor Europe (TME) has announced that it will have registered 1,076,300 vehicles in Europe in 2021, up 8% compared to 2020, while the market was stable overall (+1%).
Against this backdrop, TME announced that its market share had reached a record 6.0% (+0.4 pts) and that the Toyota brand had climbed to 2nd place in vehicle sales in Europe. TME's growth was particularly driven by the success of the various engines in the electrified Toyota and Lexus ranges.
