Telecom Italia: posts Q1 loss of E200m

(CercleFinance.com) - Group revenues came in at 3.
8 billion euros in Q1, in line with Q1 2020. Domestic landline telephony revenues increased 3% year-on-year.

Group services revenue reached 3.4 billion euros, with its year-on-year performance (-2.5%) improving relative to the decline recorded in 2020 (-5.6%).

Organic EBITDA reached 1.6 billion euros (-1.3% year-on-year), while that of the Domestic Business Unit was 1.3 billion euros (-2.6% year-on-year).

The group made a net loss of 200 million euros, stemming from the impact of non-recurrent items (300 million euros). Net income, excluding non-recurrent items, reached 100 million euros.

The share is currently down about 1%, underperforming a pretty flat market in Milan.
