Telecom Italia: signs strategic partnership with Google

(CercleFinance.com) - Telecom Italia said on Thursday that it has struck a joint technology collaboration with Google following the memorandum of understanding (MoU) that was signed last year.


Under the terms of the deal, both companies will implement joint go-to-market initiatives to help Italian companies benefit from cloud technologies.

The move comes as TIM seeks to accelerate its expansion in 5G, the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI).

TIM said it aims to boost the growth of its revenues from technology services, aiming to reach 1 billion euros in revenues and 400 million euros in EBITDA by 2024.
