Accenture: names former KeyCorp CEO to board
(CercleFinance.com) - Accenture on Friday appointed the former chief executive of US bank KeyCorp to its board, in a move to bring new expertise in financial services, as well as delivering value for shareholders.
The new director, Beth E. Mooney, headed KeyCorp, one of the 20 largest US banks in terms of assets, for nine years prior to her retirement in May 2020.
She is also a director of AT&T and Ford Motor.
Following her appointment, Accenture's board includes 12 directors, 10 of whom will be external and independent. CEO Julie Sweet and David Rowland, Accenture's executive chairman, are the only internal directors.
