Accenture: acquisition in automotive software

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday Accenture announced the acquisition of the German company, ESR Labs, a designer of embedded software for the automotive sector.
It did not specify the terms of the deal.

In a statement, the US consulting giant explained that the acquisition of this Munich-based company, which employs 130 engineers, will accelerate its technological advance with clients in the manufacturing sector, at a time of depressed car sales.

This acquisition particularly confirms Accenture's frenzy of acquisitions, which recently completed the acquisition of the Dutch design agency, VanBerlo, the American engineering firm, Nytec and the British innovation consultancy firm Happen.
