Accenture: buys utility specialist Bridge Energy Group

(CercleFinance.com) - Consulting giant Accenture said on Tuesday that it has agreed to buy Bridge Energy Group, a Boston-based firm that provides grid modernization, analytics and security services to utilities in North America.


The deal will help Accenture meet growing demand for artificial intelligence, cloud and blockchain technologies from utilities clients, the group said.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
