CRH: H1 EPS up over 50%

(CercleFinance.com) - The CRH share is pretty flat in London this morning, after the building materials supplier announced H1 EPS that is up 51% at 67.
8 euro cents, for an EBITDA margin that is up 220 basis points at 11.7%.

The Irish group posted revenue that is up 11% to over 13.2 billion euros (+3% like-for-like), in what it says is a context of positive underlying demand in both Europe and North America.

Having repurchased 550 million euros of its own shares since the beginning of 2019, CRH plans to repurchase a further 350 million euros by the end of the year.
