RBS: appoints new CEO from Natwest

(CercleFinance.com) - This morning Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) announces the appointment of Alison Rose as its CEO.


Ms Rose, who will be the first woman to lead one of Britain's biggest banks, is currently deputy chief executive of NatWest Holdings, another British bank; she also runs RBS' commercial and private banking business.

She will take office on 1 November, just after the departure of Ross McEwan, who currently has the position at RBS.
