Reckitt Benckiser: partnership with Veolia in recycling

(CercleFinance.com) - Reckitt Benckiser (RB) and Veolia have announced the signing of a partnership to promote the transition to a circular plastic economy, with RB pledging to make 100% of its plastic packaging recyclable and to contain at least 25 percent recycled content by 2025.


Both groups began to collaborate with each other two years ago. The first product from this partnership is the new Finish Quantum packaging, which now contains 30% recycled plastic.

A team of 20 experts from RB and Veolia is also working to develop improved waste collection systems, working to change behaviour to improve consumer sorting habits and improve household recycling.
