BT: Q1 adjusted EPS up 7%
(CercleFinance.com) - BT has reported revenues of 20.
8 billion pounds for Q1 2022, down 2% y-o-y. However, at the same time, its adjusted EBITDA increased 2% to 7.5 billion pounds.
Profit after tax fell by 13% to 1.2 billion pounds, representing EPS of 12.9p, also down 13%.
However, note that adjusted EPS rose by 7% to 20.3p.
BT expects 2022 revenue to fall by around 2%, with adjusted EBITDA of 7.5 to 7.7 billion pounds, rising to over 7.9 billion pounds in 2023.
The share is up 3% on this news this morning.
