Diageo: completes acquisition of Don Papa Rum

(CercleFinance.com) - Diageo today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Don Papa Rum, a super-premium dark rum from the Philippines.


The acquisition is part of Diageo's strategy to acquire high growth brands with attractive margins that support premiumisation.

Don Papa Rum joins a collection of brands including Johnnie Walker, Crown Royal and JεB whiskies, Smirnoff, Cîroc and Ketel One vodkas, Captain Morgan, Baileys, Don Julio, Tanqueray and Guinness.
