Dassault Aviation: Falcon 6X certified by EASA and FAA
(CercleFinance.com) - Dassault Aviation has announced that the European Union's EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) issued the type certificate for its Falcon 6X on Tuesday, followed by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
This certification, which concludes over two years of testing, paves the way for certification by other national aviation agencies, and certifies the timetable for entry into service of the Falcon 6X, the first examples of which are in their finishing phases.
Amongst other innovations, the Falcon 6X features a cabin size that sets a new standard of comfort for aircraft that are capable of flying over 12 hours non-stop, the aircraft manufacturer said.
