Française des Jeux: set to acquire Bimedia

(CercleFinance.com) - La Française des Jeux has announced signing an agreement for the acquisition, from Idinvest Partners, of the software publisher of point-of-sale cash receipt and payment solutions, Bimedia.


Created in 2002 at La Roche-sur-Yon (Vendée), Bimedia has nearly 140 employees and is present in over 6,400 sales outlets in France, including nearly 90% are tobacconists and newsagents.

This acquisition would be made based on an enterprise value of less than 50 million euros, financed from equity capital. The deal's finalisation is subject to the usual conditions, including approval from the French Competition Authority.
