Verallia: earnings more than doubled in 2019

(CercleFinance.com) - Verallia has reported 2019 net income that has more than doubled to 125 million euros, while its adjusted EBITDA rose by 13.
2% to 615 million euros, in line with the group's announced target of over 610 million euros (up 16% LFL).

The glass packaging specialist improved its adjusted EBITDA margin by 130 basis points to 23.8% for sales that are up 7% to 2,586 million euros, including organic growth of 9.1%, in line with its announced target of between 8% and 10%.

Verallia will pay a dividend of 0.85 euro per share, representing a total of 100 million euros, as announced at the time of its IPO. It aims for adjusted EBITDA of over 650 million euros, for organic sales growth of 3% to 5% over 2020.
