bioMérieux: proposes to cut dividend for 2019

(CercleFinance.com) - bioMérieux has announced that its board of directors has exceptionally proposed to reduce the dividend for 2019, which will be paid on 16 July, to 0.
19 euro per share, i.e. half the 0.38 euro initially proposed.

The difference in the total payout - about 22 million euros - will be donated to patronage in order to support solidarity actions, to meet the unprecedented solidarity and responsibility challenges that are imposed by the current situation.

The board also decided to hold the group's AGM behind closed doors, i.e. without the physical presence of the shareholders and their proxies, on 30 June at the in vitro diagnostic group's headquarters.
