Rubis: Q1 sales down a quarter

(CercleFinance.com) - Rubis has published consolidated Q1 2021 sales of 987 million euros for the first quarter of 2021, down 24% y-o-y.


The group's distribution business posted a 23% fall to 853 million euros, with volumes sold almost flat (-0.8%), excluding the aviation sector, with a unit margin consolidating its growth at +2%. Meanwhile, the Support & Services business posted a 34% drop to 134 million euros.

It said that the first months of 2021 are in line with the trends observed towards the end of 2020, with a sequential improvement and stable volumes over the first quarter of 2021 (excluding aviation), against a decrease of 4% in the previous quarters (Q3 and Q4 2020).
