Spie: lighting contract with Gournay-sur-Marne
(CercleFinance.com) - Spie has announced that its subsidiary Spie CityNetworks has renovated the public lighting system in Gournay-sur-Marne (Seine-Saint-Denis), enabling the town to cut energy consumption by 70% and reduce the carbon footprint of its public lighting system by a factor of eight.
Having opted for LED lighting, a solution that delivers high light output while consuming very little energy and significantly reducing maintenance costs, Spie CityNetworks was responsible for the installation of over 1,000 light points.
In addition, Gournay opted for an intelligent management system, enabling each light point to be controlled remotely and in real time, as and when required. Spie CityNetworks will maintain the installations for the next nine years.
