Spie: contract for thermal imaging cameras in Germany

(CercleFinance.com) - Spie announces that its German subsidiary, Spie Deutschland & Zentraleuropa, has been commissioned by Bareg Recycling und Entsorgung GmbH & CO.
KG to equip three of its waste treatment plants with thermal imaging cameras.

The cameras are designed to monitor the facilities over a wide area to quickly detect any unusual heat build-up that could cause a fire in the waste piles.

Each camera reliably monitors the surface temperature over an area of more than 800 square metres, 24 hours a day. Bareg's security team uses the images from the cameras as a conventional CCTV system with thermal images.
