Suez: signs two contracts for water networks in Brazil

(CercleFinance.com) - Suez today announces the signing of two contracts for the “smart” management of drinking water networks in Sao Paulo, Brazil.


The contracts include investments of 6.9 million euros in the Sumaré sector and 4.8 million euros in the Ermelino Matarazzo and Jardim Popular sectors.

These contracts will significantly reduce water losses in the capital's networks. This will save approximately 4,000,000 m3 of water each year.

The city of São Paulo will save 20 million m3 of water over the contracts' duration, equivalent to the annual consumption of more than 368,000 Brazilians.
