Rexel: reimburses credit line

(CercleFinance.com) - Electrical supplies distributor Rexel announces the repayment of the 550 million euro senior credit facility drawn down at the end of March as a precautionary measure while the Covid-19 pandemic was spreading to Europe.


“The decision to pay back... reflects the good results from initiatives we took to adapt to this unprecedented environment and protect the company, with a strong focus on opex management and cash collection, suited to each local situation,” it said.

Rexel adds that this early repayment also reflects a good cash inflow and an improvement in activity in several countries compared to the low point reached in the first half of April, notably in France.
