Rexel: H1 recurrent net income up 9.6%

(CercleFinance.com) - Rexel has announced H1 2019 recurrent net income that is up 9.
6% at 167.7 million euros, with adjusted EBITA that is up 2% at 319.2 million euros, representing a corresponding margin that has stabilised at 4.7% of sales.

The electrical supply distributor's sales rose by 3.7% to 6,799.5 million euros. In comparable data, and on a same-day basis, sales rose by 2.7%, including an unfavourable 0.3% impact relating to price changes for copper-based cables.

For FY 2019, at a comparable consolidation scope and exchange rates, with a constant days, Rexel aims for sales growth of between 2% and 4%, excluding the adverse effect of branch closures in Germany and Spain, with adjusted EBITA growth.of between 5% and 7%.
