Korian: Q1 sales up 7%

(CercleFinance.com) - Korian has published Q1 2022 revenue of 1,094 million euros, up 7% organically y-o-y.

In particular, the group benefited from the dynamics of the medical care and rehabilitation activities, the continued development of the home services segment and shared housing solutions, as well as the stabilisation of business in the medico-social network.

In addition, Korian plans to strengthen its mental health activities in Italy and to pursue its plan to transform the healthcare network in France with, in particular, the opening of a specialised clinic in Livry Gargan, near Paris, and the construction of a new hospital platform of 200 beds in Juvisy-sur-Orge, again near Paris.

All said, Korian will propose a dividend of 0.35 euro per share at the next General Meeting, up from 0.30 euro in 2021, although down relative to the 0.60 euro in 2019, including an option for payment in shares.

The group expects organic growth to exceed 4% this year.

Little reaction though - the share is actually down slightly (-0.2%) at present.
