Arkema: increases annual guidance
(CercleFinance.com) - Arkema has raised its annual targets, now looking for growth of 17% to 22% in EBITDA at constant scope in 2022, i.
e. EBITDA of around 2.1 billion euros, barring any further significant disruption in the global context.
For Q2, the chemical company posted a very strong 65.9% increase in underlying earnings to 443 million euros, or 5.99 euros per share, and a strong 47.5% increase in EBITDA to 705 million euros, giving a record EBITDA margin of 22.1%.
At 3.2 billion euros, sales increased 32.9%, with an adjustment in selling prices in the face of cost inflation more than offsetting a slight fall in volumes from last year's high base.
