Arkema: BlackRock voting rights fall below 5%

(CercleFinance.com) - Asset manager BlackRock has less than 5 per cent of the voting rights in French chemicals company Arkema, French market regulator AMF said on Thursday.


BlackRock sold Arkema shares on the market and reduced its shares held as collateral, and as a result crossed the 5 per cent threshold (downwards), triggering a mandatory disclosure to the AMF.

BlackRock, which acts on behalf of clients and funds, now holds 5.67% of the capital and 4.98% of the voting rights of the chemicals group.
