EDF: almost 95% of interim dividend paid in shares

(CercleFinance.com) - EDF announces that 94.
92% of the rights of the 2021 interim dividend were exercised in favour of a payment in new shares, at the end of the option period open from 15 to 26 November inclusive.

The issue price of the shares has been set at 11.12 euros.

This operation results in the creation of 80,844,641 new shares (after the capital increase representing approximately 2.56% of the share capital), which will be delivered and listed on Euronext Paris as of 2 December.

The amount of the cash dividend to be paid to shareholders who have not elected to receive the interim dividend in shares for 2021 is approximately 48.2 million euros and will also be paid as of 2 December.
