EDF: H1 earnings up 45%

(CercleFinance.com) - EDF has published H1 2019 net income, group share that is up 44.
7% to 2.498 million euros, with stable organic EBITDA of 8,346 million euros, thanks to favourable market conditions in France and a very strong performance of EDF trading.

At 36,469 million euros, EDF's revenues increased by 4.3% in gross terms and up 3.7% in organic terms. Nuclear generation in France was 203.7 TWh, up 1.1 TWh, thanks to better availability of the fleet.

EDF confirms its 2019 targets, including EBITDA of between 16 billion and 16.7 billion euros, as well as its aims for 2019-2020, including a target distribution rate of current net income in dividends of between 45% and 50%.
