Eutelsat: H1 earnings down 6.4%

(CercleFinance.com) - Eutelsat has announced H1 2019-20 net attributable profit of 141 million euros, compared to 150 million euros a year ago, with an EBITDA margin of 77.
8% (77.9% at constant exchange rates), compared to 78.8% the previous year.

The satellite operator's turnover came to 637 million euros, down 3.3% as reported and 4.7% on a comparable basis. Meanwhile, its order backlog stood at 4.3 billion euros at 31 December 2019, against 4.6 billion euros a year earlier.

Eutelsat maintains its FY 2019-20 target of revenues from operational activities of between 1,270 million and 1,315 million euros, with an improvement in probability.
