Alstom: 600 ME framework agreement with Deutsche Bahn
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom announces the signature of a framework agreement with Deutsche Bahn, the German state-owned railway company, for the digitization of the rail network in Germany.
The agreement, worth more than 600 million euros, covers at least 1,890 interlocking units and provides for several orders between 2025 and 2028, with implementation up to 2032.
Deutsche Bahn is taking a major step towards digitizing its rail network," says Tim Dawidowsky, President of Alstom's Central and Northern Europe region.
Alstom will supply and integrate its ETCS signalling technology, strengthening its global expertise in train control and safety.
