Alstom: has appointed a new Managing Director in Norway

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom has announced the appointment of Jörg Nikutta as Managing Director of Norway, in addition to his responsibilities as Managing Director of Alstom in Denmark.


Jörg Nikutta will have overall responsibility for Alstom's key projects in Norway, such as equipping around 380 trains with Alstom's ERTMS system, the delivery of the Coradia N05 and N06 Nordic regional trains, as well as the modernization of 36 Class 72 train sets for Norske Tog, in addition to the important services and signaling business.

Jörg Nikutta has been with Alstom since 2017, and prior to assuming the role of Managing Director in Denmark, he was Managing Director of Alstom in Austria.

Prior to joining Alstom, he held several management positions at Deutsche Bahn in Germany for almost 15 years.
