Alstom: Hanoi metro section commissioned
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom announces the commissioning of the elevated section of metro line 3 in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.
This new line will be officially inaugurated in September 2024 and is currently open to free public testing.
The first phase of the project covers 8.5 kilometres and includes eight stations on the elevated section. Once completed, the full line will span 12.5 kilometers with a total of 12 stations, and will improve access for 1.6 million city residents.
The Metropolis system is designed to enhance passenger experience and comfort, with a peak capacity of 23,900 passengers per hour per direction. The line will be equipped with the Urbalis 400 communication-based train control solution.
